Athboy Community School offers the following core subjects in First Year: Irish, English, Mathematics, History, Religious Education and SPHE (non-examination).
Short Courses are offered in CSPE, Digital Media Literacy and PE.
First Year students will be offered taster modules in Art, Business, Engineering, French, Geography, Graphics, German, Home Economics, Music, Science, and Wood Technology. They will then choose four optional subjects in addition to the core subjects above.
