The following subjects are offered under three different groupings:
Vocational Preparation [Guidance, Enterprise and English and Communications]
Vocational Education [Introduction to ICT, Mathematical Applications, Engineering and ICT]
General Education [Social Education, My Community, Music, Leisure and Recreation,Spanish, Irish, and Hotel, Agricultural Science, Catering and Tourism]
Students also participate in up to four work experience placements one day per week over the two years of the course. Credits are gained on completion of each module at the end of each of the four sessions. There is also a terminal written exam in selected subjects. Assessment is based on coursework produced and is done both by oral and written examinations.
