New Peer Mentors

The School’s Peer Mentor system acts as a student based support for students throughout their time in the school.  Each year a group of volunteers are selected and trained to listen to fellow students who seek assistance and direct them to the relevant school personnel who can help them.  The latest group of Peer Mentors received their pins from School Principal Mr. Leavy after they received training from Dr. Alan Dibble of the HSE who has been associated with the Peer Mentor initiative since it first was established in Athboy Community School.
