Athboy Community School recently scooped three national awards in the Career Skills Competition 2014 sponsored by Mc Donalds.

Saoirse O’Driscoll took first place in the Leaving Certificate Applied category.  Saoirse received a Mac Book Air and an engraved trophy of her achievement for the school, for her exploration of the career of  Educational Psychologist.

Rebecca Murphy received a set of Dr. Dre Beats and an engraved trophy for her exploration of the career of Hairdressing.

Ms. Emma Mooney the Programme Co-ordinator in Athboy Community School was presented with a cheque for €1,000 for the school.
