A series of talks will be held in Athboy Community School over the coming weeks in order to provide information on Senior Cycle Options. It is very important that all present Third Year students and Transition Year students are represented.  The following is an outline of the upcoming talks:

On Wednesday 18th March an  Information Meeting for parents and students interested in the  Leaving Cert Applied Programme will take palce at 7.30 p.m. – Facilitated by Ms. E. Mooney

Thursday 19th March

7:30 p.m. Third Level Career Information – An opportunity for students and parents/ guardians to meet with representatives from Third Level Institutions and discuss subject requirements needed for various courses.

8.15 p.m. Traditional Leaving Certificate Programme (including Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme) – Facilitated by Ms. Susan Moran (Guidance Counsellor) and Ms. Emma Mooney (Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme Co-ordinator).

Refreshments will be available during the course of these evenings.  Staff will be available for individual consultation on the night. Explanatory documentation will be made available at the talks.

Pupils will be asked to indicate which programmes and subject options they wish to follow during the week beginning 23rd March 2015.
