Dear Parents/ Guardians and students,

I hope you really enjoyed your mid term and I am looking forward to seeing all students on Tuesday.

Just wanted to check in and remind everyone of a few little things to help us get organised for the last 2 weeks of this semester:

  • No school for students tomorrow Monday 4th November 2024. 
  • First Year Photo Day : Tuesday 5th November 2024. Full school uniform. No PE uniforms. If you have PE you need to bring your gear and use the changing rooms to change into PE gear before your PE class. If the photos are finished at that stage you can leave your PE uniform on. 
  • Assessment 1 : These assessments will take place during class time in each subject from Monday 11th – Friday 22nd November. Parents will then receive a written report via VSWare / School App. We will notify parents when this is ready. I will post a timetable on this Team after school on Tuesday 5th November. Details of what is being assessed will be given to students by their subject teachers and posted on the Subject Team.
  • First Year Parent Teacher Meetings will take place on Tuesday 26th November 2024 . More details will be sent to parents before this.
  • First Year Short Courses: Thanks to all the students who filled out the form to rank their choice for their Short Course. New timetables will be given out in Tutorials on Tuesday morning. 5th Nov. Please be aware you may not have received you first choice but be assured we accommodated as many First choices as we possibly could. 
  • Students of the Week : 21st – 25th – I will give the certificates to these Students in Assembly on Monday 11th November.
  • Every Thursday – Homework Club – everyone welcome . 3.40 – 4.40 in the library. Please let Ms Watson know if you want to attend.

  • There is a BOOK CLINIC running every Wednesday during lunch time. Students can go to Mr Kington during this time to get support with textbooks, changes and repairs of books if needed.

  • Device Clinic with Ms Mc Grory– Any 1st – 3rd year students that are having an issue with their device can call in to lab 2 at lunch time every Monday.

Looking forward to seeing all First Years on Tuesday in full school uniform for Photo Day !
