Attendance Awareness Week – Day 1: Why Attendance Matters ?

Attendance matters in Athboy Community School because every day in school is a chance to learn, grow, and connect. When students attend regularly, they build confidence, keep up with their work, and feel part of the school community.

Our Core Values guide this for students:

Missing days can mean missing out on the start of important topics which makes it really difficult to catch up. 

Staff are here to support families with attendance challenges – if your son/ daughter is finding it difficult to attend, communicate with their Tutor or Year Head  as soon as possible.
