Minor and Junior Girls Basketball.

The 1st and 2nd year girls basketballers faced off against Coláiste De Lacy on Wednesday last here in the school gym. The Second Year team had a brilliant 30-12 win. Shauna Brady was the stand-out player in the match, both in defence and in scoring 10 points to help the girls to a strong win in what was an excellent performance. 

The 1st Year team came out on wrong side of a very tight result in an extremely competitive match on a scoreline of 38-36. Athboy C.S. led with two minutes to go until a late surge from CDL sealed a place in North–East Leinster Minor Final. Evie Moran, Caoimhe Heaney and Lily Mai Hickey were the stand-out players for our 1st Year girls on the day, a team who performed brilliantly all season.
