Athboy Community Gospel Choir Benefit C.D for An Cuan

Athboy Community School were delighted to welcome back our retired colleague Angela Corrigan today. As Athboy Community Gospel Choir Director, Angela and choir member Julie Mantell were delighted to present a cheque for €2,030 in aid of An Cuan.

Pictured from left to right are Julie Mantell, Ms. Clare Garrihy (Principal), Leon Cleary, Thomas Crean, Angela Corrigan, Conor Boland, Ms. Mairead O’Rourke, Ms. Noreen Smyth and Ms. Emma Mooney.

This was possible because the Gospel Choir made a specially recorded C.D. with all monies raised going straight to An Cuan. A special recording from the now 3rd Year Artistic Performance class in Athboy C.S. is featured on the C.D.

Many thanks to Ms. Hannah Evans who reached out to Athboy Community Gospel Choir and asked them to help raise funds for An Cuan and to Angela Corrigan who had the vision to make this C.D. a reality.

Thanks also go to Athboy Community Gospel Choir for their commitment and hard work, and to David Arkins for making the recording such a success.
