Attention First Years and First Year Parents/Guardians- 1st Year Football Blitz

A Mixed Football Blitz for 1st years is planned for Monday, 12 October for all students who have put their names forward to participate.

The blitz is weather dependent, so students should come prepared for the possibility that it may not go ahead. All students should attend their first class as normal and bring their school bag/books with them in case the event is postponed or cancelled due to weather conditions.

The blitz will take place on the Clann na nGael pitches, located next to the school. Students will be called from class and accompanied to the pitches for the games.

Students need to bring:

• Lunch and plenty of water

• Snacks

• Full football gear

• Gum shields

Once the finals have been completed, all students are expected to return to class as normal.

Further details regarding teams and fixtures will be provided on Monday.
