Eimear Casserly Raises €500… and Counting…

Last Saturday Athboy Community School Transition Year student and member of the GAA Future Leaders Programme, Eimear Casserly, took part in the annual sponsored Walk for Life for St Luke’s Cancer Care. Incredibly, this was her 8th year doing the walk. Her community walked 18km, firstly along the Canal in Ballinea Mullingar, then at Belvedere House Mullingar and the last walk was in Archerstown.

Eimear has raised 500 euros herself so far while we won’t know how much has been raised by the community as a whole until all sponsorship cards have been collected, with the annual cheque presentation in January.
