2nd year students had a great day out on Wednesday November 19th in Explorium National Sport and Science Centre. The science workshop had over 200 hands–on exhibitions and different shows in their sports, physics, biology, illusions, space and climate zones.
The students even got to try lying on a bed of nails and enjoyed a formula one race car simulator among many other exhibits.
They got to watch as one million volts created spectacular lightning displays that showcased the raw power of electricity. The group also got to step into the future of robotics by watching a great Robo Dog show. The students witnessed these autonomous robotic companions perform incredible tricks and demonstrate a series of captivating routines.
Thank you to Ms. Dunne, Ms.Farrelly, Mr. Sheridan, Ms.Scally, Ms.Clarke, Noreen Smyth and Anna O’Neill for a great day out.
