Honour Roll for second Trimester- Pics

 There was plenty of excitement in Athboy Community School recently when students were presented with certificates to recognise their achievement in making the School’s Honour Roll for the second trimester.  

 As part of Athboy Community School’s Learning Code, students have been building up an Asset Portfolio since the beginning of the academic year. Assets are awarded to students by staff members for a whole variety of reasons such as ongoing hard work, oral contributions in class, acts of kindness, improvement in classwork or homework, promoting a positive school spirit, promoting sustainability, creativity, manners and respect, digital skills, sporting achievements, taking initiative, being good with their hands, extra-curricular activities as well as other talents, skills and achievements.  

Students can also earn Citations for more sustained or major achievements which required training, preparation and sustained effort by the student and also Superlatives which required a supreme ongoing effort and training and preparation over a more significant amount of time.  

The top 10% in each year group made the School’s Honour Roll and were presented with Certificates of Merit by their Year Head at assembly.  

In first year the winners were Caoimhe O’Brien, Mia Baugreet, Chloe Farrelly-O’Connor, Eve McGovern, Kayla Dornan, Leah Farrelly, Aoife Hand, Louisa Scully, Lukrecija LukaIndzeleviciute, Luan Scannell, Oscar Repka, and Joel Philip. 

In second year Ciara Boylan, Emer Dullaghan, CIan Michael Ryan, Chloe Pierce, Ruby Gethin, Blathnaid Walsh, Eimear Casserly, Sonia Olszar, Liam Woods, Molly McNeice, Angela Modey, Teah Morrissey, Tanya Mary Rix-Holland, Sophie Kelly and Logan O’Shea-Dennisonare the Honour Roll recipients.  

In third year Ema Butuvilaite, Jamie Brogan, Erin Melligan, Michalina Rozycka, Ruth Coffey, Ryan Farrelly, Isabelle O’Rourke, Padraig Englishby, Callum McKeon, Ella Murtagh, Serena Lijo, and Shauna Revington make the Honour Roll.  

The T.Y. recipients were, Cian Smyth, Antonio Ribeiro-Rattigan, Saoirse Meagher and Rebecca Masterson-Percy  

In 5th year the winners were Emily O’Hanlon, Maya Namba-Okello, Sorcha O’Rourke, Chloe Fletcher, Liam Fenton, Rachel Long, Shane Carroll, Conor Cassidy and Charlotte Colgan 

In LCA1, SophieTenanty and Sarah Buckley-Doran have made the Honour Roll.  

In 6th year the recipients were James McFerran, Megan Castles, Megan Quinn, Dominik Petrusic, Jorja Byrne, Chelsey Maendayi, Megan Rafferty,Christian Doherty, Abbie Lee, Setanta Gavigan, Kyle Smith and Conor Laing 

In LCA2 the winners were Gearard Sherlock and Grace Voynov. 

Congratulations to all the students who made the Honour Roll. The third trimester started on March 1st and every student in the school now has the opportunity to continue building up their Asset Portfolio before this trimester ends in May.
