Junior Driver Programme

On Monday and Tuesday of this week, Transition Year students from Athboy Community School went on a trip to the Airport Driving School outside Navan.  

The Junior Driver Programme offered an overview of the whole driving test experience, with a major emphasis on the practical (driving) aspect alongside a section of the day spent on the theory component. 

The instructors were very helpful and guided all of us very well throughout the whole experience. The students had an excellent time, with many especially enjoying the chance to get behind the wheel. 

Afterwards, there was a welcome refuelling stop of our own in the Applegreen for lunch! A very enjoyable trip out was had.
