L.C.A. Coffee Morning

Ms. Shekleton’s LCA1 Hotel Catering and Tourism (HCT) class held a coffee morning today where the students made and served baked treats and hot beverages to the parents as part of a key assignment. The students had to make an assortment of different treats and serve them in an appealing way.

During the coffee morning, Programme Co-ordinator Ms. Quinn spoke with the parents to explain how the credits and projects work in LCA. She also explained the subjects and exams that the students will have. Other teachers such as Ms. Donohoe (Class tutor) and Ms. Hynes (English and Communications) also attended to support the class.

The coffee morning was a great success and was enjoyed by all. Huge thanks to the parents for coming and to the teachers who helped organise this event!
