Tom Flood from Le Chéile Credit Union spoke to 6th Year and LCA2 students this week at assembly about the Le Chéile Credit Union Scholarship & Bryan Keane Bursary now open to all students sitting their leaving cert in 2026.
Mr. Flood explained that there are two categories available to students to apply for.

It is open to all students in the school provided they have an account in Le Cheile Credit Union. The ten winners will be drawn at random and then there will be a short interview to determine which of the ten winners will receive an award of €2,500 and which will receive €500.
The second category is open to those students intending to pursue apprenticeships, PLC’s or level 6 courses. There will be two awards of €500.
This means that there is a total prize fund of €16,000 to be shared among 12 winners and all students in the Leaving Cert Class of 2026 are invited to apply.
