To celebrate Maths Week, we’re bringing maths to the dinner table! Each evening, we’ll post a fun maths riddle for families to discuss together at home.

The aim is to spark curiosity, conversation, and problem-solving — showing that maths isn’t just about sums and formulas, but about thinking, puzzling, and exploring ideas together.

Take a few minutes to share your ideas with each other — there’s no pressure to get the “right” answer, just have fun thinking mathematically as a family! The suggested correct answer will be shared in tomorrows riddle post.
