On Wednesday 18th September, our 6th Year students attended the Higher Options 2025 Conference in the RDS, Dublin. This annual event, organised by the Irish Times is one of the most important dates in the school calendar for senior cycle students making decisions about their future.
Students had the opportunity to meet with representatives from a wide range of Irish universities, technological universities, further education colleges, and apprenticeship providers. Many also engaged with exhibitors from UK and European universities, exploring study options abroad. There were stands from the CAO, SUSI, SOLAS, the Defence Forces, and many industry professionals available to offer insight and guidance.
Throughout the afternoon, students attended live talks on topics such as choosing the right course, navigating the CAO application system, alternative pathways, and college life.
Our students made the most of the event, asking questions, collecting prospectuses, and thinking seriously about their next steps. We are proud of how they represented the school and engaged with the opportunities available.
