Sponsored Walk Prize Winners

Athboy Community School would like to thank everyone involved with their recent Sponsored Walk before the Hallowe’en break that raised so much money to enable the school to continue to replace data projectors in classrooms with modern Smart TV’s which have been of enormous benefit to teaching and learning in the school. The money will also go towards bringing in a School Therapy Dog to support student wellbeing.

Second Year student Odhran Humez raised the most money in the entire school for the second year in a row, this year an incredible €430. He was presented with a €100 prize by sponsors Le Chéile Credit Union.

Odhran is pictured here with Mr. Tom Flood from Le Cheile. The school is very grateful to Le Cheile Credit Union for their support and to Odhran for his committed fundraising.

Congratulations also go to Jacob Sweeney, Caislin McQuaid, Lucy O’Sullivan-Meehan, Olivia Repka, Eoin Corscadden, Riley Allen and Jack Sherwin who were also presented with prizes sponsored by Le Cheile as a thank-you for their fundraising from the school community.

Well done to Odhran, Jacob, Caislin, Lucy, Olivia, Eoghan, Riley and Jack and everyone who contributed in any way.
