Senior Girls Football

Senior Girls Football.

The senior football team travelled down to play O’Carolan College in Nobber yesterday.

The girls put up a great fight against a very strong side particularly in the second half, with the final score being 4-9 to 2-4 in Nobber’s favour.

The game featured a standout performance  from Melissa Clarke, who earned the MVP for her excellent runs, energy and attacking play.

A special mention must also go to Laoise Hayes who produced some brilliant saves in goal, keeping the opposition at bay on several occasions.

Despite the result, the girls and their coaches Miss McSwiney and Miss McGovern can hold their heads high after a great performance – plenty of positives to be taken into the next game!
