Victory for ACS students at Meath School Track & Field Event 2025

Athboy Community School had a very successful day at the Meath Schools Track & Field 2025. Sheila Croal won Gold in the shot put and came 3rd in her heat, just missing the final by one spot. 

 

Pearl Keogh won Gold in her High Jump with a jump of 1metre 40.  Zach Herring won Silver in the long jump with a jump of 5.80m. Tadgh Kirke participated in the 100m sprint and came 4th.  Isobel Canty won her heat sprint and made the final but was unable to finish due to a knee strain.

 

Caoimhe O’ Brien placed 6th overall out of 21 in the girls 1110m race. 

 

So 3 medals today 2 Gold and 1 Silver for Athboy out of 6 athletes.
