Deirdre Murtagh tells the LCVP class of the frightening success of the Causey Farm!

Deirdre Murtagh spoke to our LCVP students this week about the early days of diversification at Causey, the challenges the family faced and the ‘more the merrier’ approach of the Murtaghs in making Causey Farm a massive success here and abroad.  

Deirdre spoke to the students about where it all began; a few local schools began to visit the farm to celebrate ‘Urban-Rural Week’. They enjoyed it so much that they worked out a great way to keep the fun going all year round. From Farmaphobia to Eggsplore and 4 Barns Festival, Deirdre told us about some of her favourite memories. Deirdre and the staff at Causey are busy preparing for the Christmas Experience at Causey.
