First Year School Tour to Cavan Adventure Centre

The First Years in Athboy Community School enjoyed an end of year tour to Cavan Adventure Centre in Butler’s Bridge today (May 7th).

A grand total of 108 students headed off for the day along with Year Head Miss Dowling, Tutors Ms. McKeown, Ms. Lynch, Ms. Maples and Ms. McSwiney, SNA’s Ms Moyles and Ms. McNally and teacher Mr. Tremschnig.

The group enjoyed a great day of archery, tug-of-war and team-building games before hitting the water for some kayaking and stand-up- paddleboarding.

A great day out was had by all.
