Fleadh Na Mí

On Sunday the 10th of May, three of our students in Athboy C.S competed in Fleadh Na Mí, coming away with some well-earned silverware.

Emily Doherty (1st Yr.) and Annie Mai Ludlow (2nd Yr.) along with the rest of their grúpa and céilí band, came first place in the U15 Grúpa Ceoil and first place in the U15 Céilí Band.

As well as this, Emily also won first place in U15 Lilting and U15 Ladies English Singing.

6th Yr. student, Lucy Heaney came in second place in the U18 flute competition and in first place in the U18 Ladies English Singing.

They all will progress onto Fleadh Laighean and compete at the end of June.
