Graduation Ceremony

Congratulations to the 91 students of the Leaving Cert Class of 2026 who enjoyed a wonderful Graduation Ceremony on Thursday evening in Athboy Community School.

The ceremony was coordinated by the school Chaplain Miss Halligan and had ‘Nostalgia’ as its central theme. The students were resplendent in their graduation gowns. A big thank you to Year Heads Miss Leddy, Miss McGrory and Miss Quinn for all their input.

There was lovely music from the 1st and 2ndYear Performing Arts classesand Graduation Choir under the guidance of Miss McGowan and Miss Coghlan, with beautiful artwork done by the sixth year students adorning the walls and easels.

Each graduating student received a candle and a scroll in a commemorative pictorial folder before the Graduation Cake was cut by Studentsof the Year Charlotte Colgan and Sofie Tenanty.

Everybody associated with Athboy C.S would like to wish the graduating students all the best for their exams and in their future studies and lives to come.
